The start of their journey that was set in the stars

The joyous day of their union will bring no harm
It all started with a simple night out
At Mister C's when Alina and Pavel had their
first encounter, no doubt!
Their love was celebrated and blessed,
As they got engaged in Lake Como's nest,
A magical moment so divine,
The lake made their love shine!
Their union is blessed, and by the Wild Cat it's led,
And with the same animal they share
a common thread,
A sign of the same protector, guiding their fate,
The Wild Cat is their shield and it's never too late.
Pavel was so smooth, their date was divine
The perfect gentleman, so gallant and kind
The seventeenth of September they got engaged
And on the twenty seventh of June they will pledge their love
The love between Pavel and Alina,
Was on display in Villa Cassinella,
They arrived by boat,
Accompanied by a videographer to note,
The beautiful heart of petals Pavel had made,
He knelt and asked for her hand in the shade.
Alina and Pavel's family has a Wild Cat,
A patron that's guided them to their wedding mat,
They met in a bar, the Leopard was the main symbol,
Their favorite animals are Leo and Panther, so simple.
The Wild Cat is their patron, a happy symbol of bliss,
It's a sign of good fortune, more than just a kiss,
It's a symbol of love and protection for Alina and Pavel,
A reminder of the future and the coming days ever so stable.
We encourage all guests to arrive at least one day before the wedding day to
allow for travel time from airport to hotel and settling down before event time.

We have chosen to have our big day at Villa Balbiano, a lakeside estate
that dates back to the 16th century.
16:30 - WELCOME DRINK
We kindly ask that you arrive promptly at 16:30 so that you have time to enjoy
a refreshing Italian cocktail and wonderful views of Lake Como.
17:00 - 17:30 CEREMONY
The ceremony will begin promptly at 17:00, so please make your way to
the ceremony space a few minutes early to find your seats and enjoy
the picturesque views of the lake.
17:30 - 19:00 APERITIVO
After the ceremony, we invite you to join us for a delightful aperitivo
before the reception.
Take a moment to relax and enjoy a refreshing Italian cocktail while savoring
some delicious hors d’oeuvres.
19:00 - 23:00 RECEPTION
After an aperitivo hour in the gardens, we will sit down for an al fresco reception.
Our reception will feature a delicious Italian dinner, lively music,
and dancing under the stars with breathtaking views of Lake Como.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please send in your RSVPs by June 10, 2023 so we have ample time to prepare. Please respond through our wedding website.

What will the weather be like?
The weather in Lake Como in June ranges from 81°F to 77°F, rarely falling below 70°F or exceeding 87°F. Our "main event" on June 27, 2023 will be held at Villa Balbiano, an outdoor wedding venue on the lake.
Please bring layers for the evening as well as for any boat rides you may take!
What kind of shoes should / shouldn't I wear?
The terrain at Villa Balbiano is uneven. We recommend guests
opt for chunky heels or platforms over stilettos.

Where should I park?
There is strictly no parking at our wedding venue (Villa Balbiano). Please see below for transportation information.
Is there transportation being provided between the hotels and official wedding events?
We will provide transportation for the Welcome party on June 26 and Wedding on June 27. Please note that parking is strictly not available at Villa Balbiano.
If you plan to arrive by your car, please contact our wedding planners to book a spot on the walkable distance parking.

An Important Note on Transportation:
It will not be easy to get an Uber or taxi on-demand. We strongly recommend staying
within walking distance of the pickup spots and booking any transportation
you need well in advance.
FLYING IN
We recommend flying into Milan Malpensa International Airport (MXP). It is a large
international airport that is also close to the lake.
GETTING TO THE LAKE
From Malpensa airport, we recommend taking public train to the town of Como.
There are two options:
1) You can take the Malpensa Express and get off at Saronno,
where you can change trains to Como Lago Nord station;
2) You can also take the Malpensa Express to Milano Porta Garibaldi and then take
a regional train to Como San Giovanni station. Both options take about 1h 30m.
Alternatively, car or helicopter transfers can be arranged from MXP airport.

VILLA CARLOTTA
Visiting Villa Carlotta is one of the best things to do in Lake Como if you’re looking for a half-day of sightseeing. Nestled in the Tremezzina Riviera, Villa Carlotta is incredible for its lush gardens and world-renowned paintings and sculptures. The beautiful villa was built at the end of XVII century by the Milanese marquis Giorgio Clerici in a natural basin between lake and mountains, facing the dolomite Grignas and the peninsula of Bellagio.
GRAND HOTEL TREMEZZO
The Grand Hotel Tremezzo is an iconic art nouveau masterpiece sitting on the western shores of Lake Como. With views spanning the crystalline waters towards Bellagio and the Grigne mountains, it offers three pools, a lakeside private beach and lavish private park, all with the warmest hospitality all’italiana. VARENNA
is a small fishing village located on the eastern shore of Lake Como. The historic center of the village is amazing, starting from the square of
S. Giorgio, an ancient Roman forum, and the narrow streets and stairs leading down to the lake. Walking along the "Passerella degli Innamorati" you can enjoy a breathtaking view directly on the lake and the village full of cafes.
VILLA MELZI
The Gardens of Villa Melzi d’Eril rise along the shores of Lake Como near Bellagio, harmoniously inserted into the hilly landscape between the two branches of the lake. The Gardens of Villa Melzi are a splendid expression of the Neoclassical style, and have been declared a national monument.
VILLA LA CASSINELLA
If you rent a boat trip, ask your captain to show you from water and take a picture in front of this picturresqueis villa. Cassinella is well known in the Como area, and boats frequently cruise by packed with photo-snapping passengers. “Bellissimo!” the guides exclaim at the sight of the golden-hued villa with its wrought-iron gate and stately
columns of cypress trees.
VILLA CIPRESSI
The property of Villa Cipressi has a rich history that dates back almost six centuries. One of the main attractions at the villa is the hotel’s botanical garden. This floral treasure of various beautiful plants with some species unusual for this region, including palms, cypresses, strawberry trees, camellias, and many other species to enjoy their look and scent.
VILLA MONASTERO
The complex was initially a Cistercian female monastery founded in the late twelfth century which at the beginning of the seventeenth century was transformed by the Valsassinese Mornico family and subsequently renovated in an eclectic style,
in particular between 1897 and 1909 by its last owner Walter Kees.
VILLA DEL BALBIANELLO
You can’t miss visiting this world famous villa in Lenno town. Many legendary Hollywood movies were filmed here, like James Bond and Star Wars. This elegant, romantic 18th century mansion and its magnificent garden have hosted writers, scholars and travelers, including Count Guido Monzino, the last owner of the Villa.
NESSO
is a picturesque village sitting on the banks of Lake Como. Its history goes back to the ancient Roman times, although most of its interesting historical landmarks, such as the Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo, belong to more recent times. Ponte della Civera, a Romanesque bridge made of stone, is a perfect place to enjoy the waterfalls.
TOWN OF BELLAGIO
Bellagio is a small jewel located on the promontory that separates the two southern branches of Lake Como. It is one of the most glamorous and romantic destinations in Lombardy. In fact, the well-known “Pearl of Lake Como” is home to a colorful historic center, beautiful gardens (parks of Villa Serbelloni and Villa Melzi), charming neighborhoods (such as Pescallo or San Giovanni), and much more. We recommend hiking to the top of Salita Serbelloni (pictured above) for one of the most famous views of the town.
TOWN OF MENAGGIO
Menaggio is a small and picturesque town ten-fifteen minutes north of Tremezzo. Just a few minutes from the town’s pier is Piazza Garibaldi,
the heart of Menaggio. Here, and in the surrounding small squares, there are many bars, restaurants and ice cream parlors with lake views.
You absolutely cannot miss a walk along Menaggio’s lakefront Viale Benedetto Castelli, (pictured above) in our opinion one of the most beautiful on Lake Como.
VILLA D'ESTE
The Villa d'Este is a former Renaissance patrician residence in Cernobbio on the shores of the southern portion of Lake Como. Now a luxury
hotel, it is best known for its icon garden and stone arches, this place also has one of the most beautiful patios to enjoy a few cocktails or a high-end dining experience at its Veranda restaurant. Advance bookings are a must if you are not a guest at this hotel.
VILLA BALBIANO
Situated on the western shore of Lake Como, this villa is an awe-inspiring Italian jewel, an exceptional historical palazzo that once belonged to the famous Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, who built it at the end
of 16th century and used it as his main residence.
Inside, its historic interiors have been filled with finest objets d’art and furniture of past centuries, sourced from Sotheby’s and Christie’s. Spectacular 17th century frescoes painted by the Recchi brothers and Agostino Silva still decorate the walls, untouched by time. With its illustrious past, an unparalleled mix
of man-made and natural beauty, it is one of the most glamorous locations on Lake Como.
